
Student Services Assistant Director

CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Assistant Director of Student Services: Instructional Programs at Sidwell / Learning & Teaching for the 2026 - 2027 SY.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree, Illinois Professional Educators License and Principal or Administrative Endorsement, Illinois Approval for Teacher Evaluation required.
Director of Special Education certification preferred.
Experience in special education required.
Experience with students across grade levels and continuum preferred.
Primary Responsibility Plan, develop, and implement evidence-based instructional, behavioral, and communication practices to support the academic and social-emotional learning needs of students entitled to special education services in D303, with a specialized focus on programming for students with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Other Health Impairments, and Multiple Disabilities. Working in collaboration with District and building Administrators, this role develops and maintains quality special education programming for students ages 3-18 requiring rigorous specially designed instruction per the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
