UI/UX Ecommerce Web Designer
Absolute Web, Miami, FL, United States
Job Overview
Absolute Web is hiring a UI/UX Ecommerce Web Designer who truly understands online shopping behavior. This is not a generic web design role. Deep ecommerce knowledge is a must. You should intuitively understand how users browse, filter, compare, add to cart, check out, manage accounts, reorder, and interact with both DTC and B2B storefronts. We design experiences that convert. If you don’t think about AOV, CVR, friction points, and revenue impact while designing, this role isn’t for you.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design high-converting ecommerce experiences grounded in best practices
Create intuitive shopping UI/UX across PLP, PDP, cart, checkout, and post-purchase flows
Design efficient customer account experiences (DTC and B2B)
Create backend UX concepts such as portals, dashboards, reorder flows, and bulk ordering systems
Build wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
Develop scalable design systems and frontend style guides
Participate in internal strategy sessions and client-facing presentations
Review frontend implementation and provide structured feedback to developers
Leverage AI tools to speed up research, UX iteration, and workflow efficiency
You’ll work closely with Solutions, CRO, Development, and QA to ensure designs translate cleanly into production.
Requirements
MUST be located in US / Canada / Europe
Strong ecommerce background (agency experience strongly preferred)
Deep understanding of ecommerce best practices
Proven experience designing intuitive shopping experiences
Ability to design for both DTC and B2B commerce environments
Experience creating efficient account dashboards and customer portals
Advanced Figma skills including prototyping and component systems
Strong attention to detail
Clear communication in client-facing settings
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience with Shopify Plus or headless commerce
Understanding of CRO methodology and A/B testing
Experience designing scalable systems, not just pages
Ability to think both frontend and backend UX
Strong portfolio demonstrating measurable results
What We Offer
