You will be the Technical Trainer for the team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact training that drives operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Technical Trainer you will be responsible for coordinating training and development programs that support both customer needs and organizational goals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate training and development initiatives across the organization.

Plan, execute, and track technical and professional training programs.

Develop curriculum, create course content, and integrate it into the Corporate LMS.

Deliver hands‑on technical training for manufacturing equipment and mechanical assembly.

Collaborate with business partners to identify development needs and secure resources.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in training‑management processes and technologies

Formal classroom instructional facilitation experience

Experience with training‑management systems

Ability to travel to support training‑delivery needs

Ability to work alternate shifts

Strong project‑management and organizational skills

Basic knowledge and experience with industrial‑based skills

Desired Skills:

Strong project‑management and organizational skills

Broad knowledge and experience with industrial‑based skills

Knowledge of OSHA and ESH regulations/requirements

Formal technical‑training experience in manufacturing disciplines (mechanical, electrical, optical)

Curriculum‑development experience focused on performance‑based learning

Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience delivering formal training in optical fabrication and/or assembly

Experience delivering formal technical training on material‑handling equipment (forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.)

Instructional‑design skills

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
