About the Opportunity
Join our innovative team as a Technical Writer, where you’ll combine your writing skills with technical expertise to create clear documentation for the installation, operation, and maintenance of complex electronic and mechanical equipment. You’ll collaborate with industry experts, contribute to impactful aviation projects, and help support safety and efficiency across our operations.
Responsibilities
Write clear, accurate technical manuals and user guides based on customer specifications.
Analyze notes, drawings, and specifications to produce concise documentation.
Work with editors and production staff to meet formatting and deadline requirements.
Use XML, SGML, and HTML tools to develop and edit documentation.
Coordinate with customers to determine documentation needs.
Support internal teams with technical communication guidance.
Identify and report safety concerns and conduct risk analysis on safety‑critical parts.
Assist with special projects while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
Strong writing, research, and grammar skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
Knowledge of aircraft or aero engine maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with PC systems and documentation tools.
Relevant college program in mechanical/electrical engineering technology or similar.
Technical writing experience with a portfolio preferred.
High school diploma plus technical training.
1–3 years of related experience.
Work on projects that support aviation safety and innovation.
Collaborate with a skilled and supportive technical team.
