We are seeking a Strategic Planning and Business Process Consultant II - Technical Writer as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work in support of TSA-ESVP. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Position Description

Plan, research, write, and maintain high-quality technical content, including user manuals, API references, and installation guides.

Partner with technical and product stakeholders to extract technical details and translate jargon into clear, actionable instructions.

Organize and structure complex information into logical hierarchies for optimal user navigation and accessibility.

Create and integrate diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance understanding of intricate processes.

Establish or refine internal style guides and documentation templates to ensure consistency across the organization.

Perform rigorous copy-editing and proofreading to ensure all deliverables are accurate, concise, and error-free.

Provide high-level technical writing support, including the formatting and correction of reports, processes, and procedures.

Create, review, and format complex information for publication across various media and electronic platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience in strategic planning and business process analysis/re‑engineering.

Proven ability to simplify dense technical concepts for both expert and novice audiences.

Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict delivery deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.

SECRET clearance is REQUIRED.

Compensation and Benefits The estimated compensation range for this position is between "$88,000 - $93,000" annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels. At Hive Group, salary decisions are influenced by several factors, including but not limited to the role, location, and the combination of education, training, skills, certifications, competencies, and relevant work experience.
