Pay:$41,600–$58,962 per year (base) + incentives (commission/bonus)
About the Role We’re hiring a motivated, detail-orientedFreight Brokerto join our logistics team. In this role, you’ll connect shippers with carriers, negotiate rates, and manage freight from initial booking through final delivery. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where strong communication, follow-through, and relationship building are essential.
What You’ll Do
Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
Manage shipments end-to-end—from lead generation and booking through delivery confirmation and issue resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to grow and retain business.
Coordinate transportation planning to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
Partner with 3PL providers and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain solutions.
Monitor market conditions (capacity, lanes, pricing) and identify new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate shipment records, updates, and documentation in internal systems.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred: experience in logistics, freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation coordination.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills (able to communicate confidently with customers and carriers).
Comfortable with data entry and transportation systems; experience with EDI is a plus.
Sales/lead generation experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of transportation planning and supply chain fundamentals.
Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple shipments in a high-volume setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Base pay: $41,600–$58,962/year (based on experience)
