## Description**Purpose of Job**
The Project Director is responsible for leading and delivering the organization’s most critical,
enterprise-level strategic initiatives by working closely with the executive team and department leaders to
drive cross-functional alignment of projects. The role also ensures major projects are aligned with
organizational priorities are executed effectively, on time, and with measurable impact to improve the
health of the communities NEW Health serves.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Lead and manage high-impact, organization-wide strategic projects from initiation through completion.* Translate CEO and executive team priorities into clear project objectives, plans, timelines, and success metrics.* Partner directly with the CEO to provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations on project status, risks, and outcomes.* Collaborate with executive leaders and department heads to define scope, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for critical projects.* Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and effective communication across departments.* Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.* Establish and maintain project governance structures, including decision-making processes and escalation pathways.* Monitor project performance, ensuring initiatives deliver intended outcomes, value, and organizational impact.* Prepare and present clear, concise reports, dashboards, and briefings for executive leadership.* Resolve complex issues and conflicts that arise during project execution, recommending solutions and tradeoffs as needed.* Support organizational change efforts by promoting readiness, adoption, and sustained implementation of strategic initiatives.* Oversee project budgets, resource utilization, and financial impacts in collaboration with Finance and department leaders.* Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices in project management, change management, and strategic execution.* Manage relationships with external consultants, vendors, or partners supporting strategic initiatives, as applicable.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Travel may be required.## Qualifications**Education/Experience:**
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities, preferred. Experience in healthcare, community health, or complex service organizations is strongly preferred.
**Skills:**
Advanced project and portfolio management expertise. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. Strategic thinking with strong operational execution skills. Financial acumen related to budgeting and resource management. Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems.**Physical Demands:**
Required to stand, sit, and be mobile 1/3rd to 2/3rd of the time. Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel over 2/3rds of the time; reaching with hands and arms occurs approximately 1/3rd of the day. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or balancing may occur. Communication by talking and hearing occurs over 2/3rds of the day. Lifting requirements are generally up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 25–40 lbs. Occasionally. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
