We are searching for an entrepreneurially-minded Media Relations Strategist. For this position, we prize technical ability, curiosity and experience in restaurants.

Previous PR experience in hospitality is a must.

Select Job Responsibilities

Create comprehensive and thoughtful public relations strategies for partners to maximize exposure

Draft story, messaging and talking points

Identify, maintain and curate database of top tier local, regional and national media contacts

Conceptualize and execute public relations events, including briefings, events, functions, stays, drops, media familiarization trips and itineraries

Entertain media regularly

Qualify media interest in story development

Execute media training, where necessary

Oversee creation of press kit and multimedia library

Create custom new media vehicles for better storytelling

Monitor and respond to media successes

Coordinate media shoots and segments

Measure and report

Interface with team members in other disciplines for strong coordination of integrated marketing campaigns

Create a comprehensive and thoughtful public relations strategy for partners to maximize exposure

Conduct Community Outreach on behalf of all Partners and maintain trackers

Conduct outreach for Chef events (outreach and ownership)

Maintain Memberships

Develop and manage Community Calendars

Monetize the discipline on behalf of a business’ bottom line, wherever possible

Serve as an Account Lead for multi-disciplinary accounts

Develop a trusting and successful relationship with the partner and manage the internal team’s success

Lead communication internally and with partners, including weekly check-ins and updates on initiatives
