The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

Build and sustain professional relationships with potential customers via phone, email, social media, and in-person.

Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all company products, services, and accessories.

Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.

Create effective strategies to overcome sales objections.

Report to the Sales Manager with goals & objectives, planned activities, performance reviews and feedback.

Understand basic financing and optional financial products.

Routinely follow-up with customers to ensure continued satisfaction

Consistently monitor industry trends and techniques in the automotive industry.

Work with other departments and dealership staff to ensure effective collaboration.

Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and provide a positive attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience in general automotive sales

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends

Must have the ability to learn new products and services

Must be well organized, personable, and professional

Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
