Key Qualifications

5 years hands‑on building maintenance experience.

2 years manager background with hands‑on building background.

Ability to successfully diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues independently.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage shifting deadlines.

Must be highly organized, team‑oriented, and able to work seamlessly with senior leadership.

Shift Pattern Varied – AM, PM, Overnight

Salary Range $89,000 – $100,000, based on applicable and specialized experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in directing and overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems, and grounds according to federal, state, and local regulations.

Conduct facility inspections and direct general construction and the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Assign, verify, and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.

Communicate with city, county, and state officials to ensure proper maintenance of permits and licenses, coordinate required inspections, and ensure full compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Assist in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations.

Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, professional development, and recognition and reward.

Recruit, interview, and train team members.

Act in absence of the Director.

Lead special projects as needed.
