Social Media Intern

What this role actually is: You’ll manage the social presence for a portfolio of Downtown Memphis communities. That means posting on schedule, filming on-site, editing video, writing captions, and responding to their community every week for clients who are paying for results. This starts part-time. Perform well and there's a clear path to a full-time, salaried role with more accounts, more responsibility, higher pay. We’d rather promote from within than hire from outside, and this role was built with that in mind.
What you’ll be doing:
Create and schedule content on a set weekly rhythm
Film and edit Reels during recurring on-site shoots at client properties around Memphis
Write captions that match each property's voice - not generic copy
Monitor and respond to comments and DMs daily
Edit and organize photos after each shoot
Attend weekly team check-ins and flag what's working and what isn't

Who we’re looking for: You’re currently in school or just finished - studying marketing, communications, journalism, or something adjacent. You know how to film and edit short‑form video, and you’re passionate to keep getting better at it. More importantly: you’re organized, you follow through, and you don’t need to be reminded twice. This is a deadline‑driven role. You need to be Memphis‑based with a car. On‑site shoots are part of the job.
Compensation & structure:
Rate: $15/ hour
Start Date: April 27
Conversion Window: 3‑6 months

Most of them local. All of them relying on us to show up every week and deliver. We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. This internship is part of that - a real role, on real accounts, doing real work.
