Overview The Resident Services Specialist is primarily responsible for providing assistance and coordinating all requests from residents with the property management team. The position ensures overall community appearance, assists in marketing, and delivers exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining resident files, retention programs, managing service requests, holding resident group meetings, and supporting the Community Director and Manager in compliance with Hunt Military Communities policies and government requirements.

What You Will Do

Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident inquiries.

Coordinate resident requests with the property management team by entering work orders into YARDI.

Answer resident questions, resolve concerns, and provide high‑level customer service with courteous, professional, prompt responses.

Follow up on all interactions and ensure completion and resolution of work orders.

Assist in inspecting model and vacant homes to prepare for prospective client tours.

Administer move‑in lease documents and perform home inspections with residents.

Coordinate move‑outs, pre‑inspection, final inspection, assess damages, and deliver final utility bills.

Monitor rental account balances and ensure accurate fees and rent charges in Yardi.

Maintain community curb appeal and appearance of office, amenities, model homes, and the community.

Conduct follow‑up phone calls to residents to ensure work orders are completed timely and satisfactorily.

Perform other duties as needed to assist the Community Director/Community Manager and/or Leasing team.

Participate in monthly site functions to assist in resident retention.

Drive for the company, either in a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle, more than 50% of the time.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related discipline preferred.

Experience with computers and typical office software (Email, Word, Excel, internet browsers) required.

Previous sales experience preferred.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to show houses in all weather conditions.

Demonstrated judgment and discretion in handling highly confidential information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.

Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Professionalism, strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and integrity required.

Ability to resolve problems independently and responsibly.

Reliable, self‑motivated team player with strong communication, client management, and business literacy skills.

Discretion and professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Strategic vision, development, and implementation of new strategies to address complex business issues.

Initiative to identify client needs and make implementation recommendations.

Valid driver's license in the state required.
