Our Publishing & Content Production Internship is designed for writers, editors, designers, and multimedia storytellers who want to understand how modern publishing works—from concept to creation to global distribution across entertainment and media platforms. As a Publishing & Content Production Intern , you’ll gain hands‑on experience producing books, educational materials, audiobooks, and interactive media. You’ll collaborate with designers, editors, video teams, and marketing strategists to help shape content that empowers creators, educators, athletes, and digital communities. Assist in developing, editing, formatting, and laying out books, manuals, and creative learning materials Work with digital and print‑on‑demand platforms (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and others) to prepare and publish content Support audiobook and multimedia production, including narration editing, file mastering, and creative collaboration Contribute to content pipelines that support entertainment, NIL, and creator‑driven initiatives Copyright & Compliance Assist with licensing, citations, and intellectual property documentation Maintain organized records for publishing rights, permissions, and attribution Ensure all content follows ethical, legal, and industry‑standard publishing practices Support compliance workflows for digital distribution and partner collaborations Work with graphic design and video teams to align visual assets with book and content branding Support cohesive design across book covers, promotional videos, and marketing materials Contribute ideas that enhance accessibility, clarity, and creator‑centered storytelling Collaborate on multimedia content that strengthens UEV’s entertainment ecosystem Participate in marketing campaigns targeting schools, libraries, bookstores, and online audiences Develop metadata, keywords, and product descriptions optimized for digital retailers Support social media promotion to increase visibility, reviews, and readership Assist in cross‑platform promotional strategies for newly published content Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Publishing, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, Digital Media, English, or related fields Strong skills in writing, editing, formatting, and layout Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Canva, WordPress, or Google Docs Interest in Amazon KDP, ACX, Draft2Digital, or other self‑publishing platforms Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, or AEO is a plus Ability to collaborate across creative teams and manage deadlines independently What You’ll Gain Hands‑on experience producing content across print, digital, audio, and multimedia formats A full understanding of how books and media assets move from concept to publication Training in real‑world publishing systems, metadata workflows, and distribution models Mentorship from professionals in publishing, marketing, design, video, and copyright Opportunities to contribute to live publications and build a professional portfolio Letters of recommendation and valuable industry connections Fully remote and designed for emerging creators Help bring stories, learning tools, and creative ideas to life for the next generation of creators and audiences.
