
Marketing Intern

Position Description
The Marketing Intern is responsible for restaurant support on a grassroots level by helping with local restaurant marketing tasks, relationship building in the community and communication around marketing activities. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, can multi-task, is able to meet deadlines, enjoy working with others and speaking with guests. Must have superior communication skills.
Overview This is a hybrid remote part-time internship. Time will be split between the Piada stores in the San Antonio area and your home office.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and execution of marketing strategies for existing restaurants and new restaurant openings, including competitive landscape research, SWOT analysis, ROI analysis etc.
Assist with the planning and execution of local restaurant marketing events and working with other interns (i.e. fundraiser nights, donations, tasting events and grassroot efforts)
Promote and positively represent the brand in all interactions (i.e. digitally, in-store, off-site)
Assist with the execution of local marketing strategy, working with local restaurants, Partner, Market Partners and community
Assist with daily administrative duties, management of guest facing email, fundraising program and catering opportunities as needed
Generation of marketing content/brainstorming/strategy
Other projects to be assigned as needed
Moderate travel and reliable transportation is required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Junior or Senior level college student with a focus in Marketing, Hospitality and/or Communication
Basic understanding of marketing principles and processes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to problem solve and think strategicallyAbility to quickly learn new systems and tools
Ability to have an open-mind and willingness to share ideas
Experience with events, Guest service, working with a team, and time management
