Education Level2 Year Degree## Description**The Human Resource Specialist is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Director in providing high-quality HR services to the employees of ElevaCare. The Human Resources Specialist will help support recruitment and retention efforts, represent ElevaCare at career fairs and community events, and partner with HR and Marketing to strengthen the organization’s presence both internally and within the community. This position also plays a key role in supporting employee engagement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and overall employee experience.**---**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**•

College Degree or equivalent



Minimum of 2+ years of successful experience in Human Resources



Strong communication skills



Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills



Strong organizational and follow up skills---**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**• Assist the Human Resources Director with all tasks and projects related to human resources

• Work on recruitment and retention initiatives including posting jobs, screening candidates for employment, completing background checks, and onboarding

• Assist in recruitment events and actively research avenues for reaching new candidates

• Represent ElevaCare at career fairs and community events (such as parades, town celebrations, and outreach opportunities) to promote the organization and connect with potential candidates

• Partner with HR and Marketing to support community engagement efforts and strengthen ElevaCare’s presence in the community

• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and internal events that enhance workplace culture

• Assist with internal ElevaCare events and activities

• Assist with workers compensation claims including reporting and maintaining records

• Update current system of personnel filing to electronic

• Provide assistance in employee relations issues when necessary

• Coach and mentor employees

• Assist the Director of Human Resources with other projects and initiatives as requested---**REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES**•

Must possess the required level of skills and abilities to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sound reasoning to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.



Must be able to perform basic operations on a computer within the Windows operating system.

May be exposed to communicable diseases when working in a health care environment.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to sharps or cuts and toxic or caustic chemicals.



The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.



The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, compression, impact, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of radiation.
