Reporting to the Sales Manager, the
Commercial Account Manager
will drive business growth by developing new Commercial B2B Maintenance and Snow Management partnerships while nurturing existing client relationships. This dual-focused role requires a strategic hunter mindset to generate leads and a consultative approach to ensure high-quality service, aiming for a 90% contract renewal rate. Responsibilities
Drive
new commercial business by generating leads through cold calling, canvassing, networking, and digital marketing efforts. Manage
and expand relationships with property management companies and existing clients to uncover additional sales opportunities. Generate
accurate estimates, present proposals, and execute contracts to achieve and exceed sales goals. Conduct
regular site quality reviews with Field Operations Managers to ensure budget adherence and high-quality control. Provide
exceptional client service to proactively resolve issues and secure a 90% account renewal rate. Network
extensively within and outside the industry to create new opportunities for land and snow services. Maintain
a robust sales pipeline and participate in company meetings, training, and trade shows to promote growth. Requirements
Experience:
5-7 years of related sales experience, with a strong preference for 5+ years in Landscape Sales or B2B sales. Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; ability to learn industry-specific software (BOSSlm) and interpret blueprints. Sales Expertise:
Demonstrated success in cold calling, face-to-face client interactions, and managing a book of business. Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present professionally to customers and staff. Horticultural Knowledge:
Ability to expand plant palette knowledge and learn design software (Dynascape) is a plus. Soft Skills:
Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities. Salary:
Base Salary of $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience, + 3% commission on sales. Total OTE (Base + Comm):
$95,000 - $125,000+ Retirement:
