WeatherTech is seeking a detail-oriented
Digital Asset Coordinator
to support the management and maintenance of WeatherTech’s digital media assets. In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the company’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, Aprimo, ensuring digital assets such as images, videos, and documents are accurately organized, properly tagged, and accessible to internal and external teams.
The Digital Asset Coordinator will help maintain the quality and integrity of the digital asset library by applying metadata standards, managing asset uploads, and supporting asset distribution to downstream systems such as the Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This position also provides day‑to‑day support to internal teams who rely on the DAM system, helping users locate assets, resolve issues, and follow established asset management processes.
As the Digital Asset Coordinator, you will
Upload, organize, and maintain digital assets within the Aprimo DAM platform, ensuring files are placed in the appropriate collections and follow established naming conventions and organizational standards.
Apply and maintain accurate metadata including asset status, product group, image type, language, site designation, line of business, and other required attributes to support searchability and proper asset classification.
Perform bulk metadata updates using Aprimo tools and spreadsheet workflows, manage asset availability settings, and ensure publicly accessible URLs are generated for assets approved for external use.
Support asset synchronization between Aprimo and the PIM system (InRiver), including validating metadata, archiving outdated assets, and conducting spot checks to ensure assets display correctly across digital platforms.
Provide day‑to‑day support for DAM users by assisting with uploads, metadata updates, downloads, and troubleshooting asset issues while helping maintain metadata standards and data integrity across the system.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and web teams to ensure digital assets support SEO and accessibility best practices, including the application of descriptive image alt text, optimized metadata, and consistent file naming structures to improve discoverability and usability across digital platforms.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in Information Management, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience working with Digital Asset Management systems or digital content libraries
Experience with digital transformation and integration of DAM with other enterprise systems
Familiarity with DAM platforms such as Aprimo or similar systems
Experience working with metadata, spreadsheets, or bulk data updates
Experience collaborating with marketing or SEO teams to support content optimization
Familiarity with creative production processes and marketing workflows
Understanding of content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing technologies
Strong analytical skills and experience with data‑driven decision making
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support internal users
Must be authorized to work in the United States
