Job Description
Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsiblities The Integrated Planning Administration Group (IPAG) Division is seeking a Senior Business Assistant to perform administrative maintenance, construction, operations and mobile support, processing the closure of work orders.
Key Responsibilities
Perform the duties of the Work Control Specialist within the IPAG team, supporting the closure of maintenance, construction, operations and mobile work orders.
Perform final review of completed work orders for completeness and compliance with company procedures.
Using scanner, scan and close completed work orders.
Perform closure of mobile work orders within IBM Maximo and/or Mobile 4 Maximo system.
Enter appropriate information from completed work orders into ICON database.
Assist in maintaining the iCon error reports. The iCon error report will be checked daily for any reported errors in iCon. When errors are found, we will need to ensure the errors are corrected and that the work order can be verified in iCon.
Enter work package feedback into appropriate SharePoint site.
Cross train with other IPAG positions to be able to fill in when needed.
Perform other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
High School diploma or equivalent, and at least 6 years of related experience.
Experience with business software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and other Office tools.
Ability and experience effectively using computers, printers, scanners etc.
Be able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management and internal and external customers are essential.
Have strong computer skills, organizational skills, and be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to cope with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions, and multiple tasks.
Experience with IBM Maximo is highly desirable.
Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
The primary work location will be at a forward area at the Nevada National Security Site (located 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada).
Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change).
Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, 'Identity, Credential, and Access Management', and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, 'Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors'.
