Business Intelligence Analyst
Provide business intelligence support to the organization in alignment with the four pillars of the Asset Protection Department. Revenue/Profit Assurance Inventory Variation Control Incidents and Investigations Safety and AP Awareness Duties and Responsibilities: Translate business needs into analytical work products using Power BI, delivering visualizations and meaningful insights from large datasets. Identify exceptions requiring urgent action and communicate findings promptly. Support the physical inventory audit process by providing both high-level insights and store-specific details. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Retail Inventory Accounting (Oracle). Prepare financial reporting that highlights areas of risk on the Store P&L. Develop store communications as needed. Become well-versed in the financial drivers impacting franchise financials. Manage store notification processes. Partner with cross-functional departments to support special analysis requests. Support analytics related to equity balances and identified stores at risk based on key financial drivers. Train end users on new reports, processes, and dashboards. Perform various ad hoc analyses as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related financial field or at least 3 years' related experience in lieu of degree Strong knowledge of Inventory Accounting processes, GAAP, and financial reporting standards. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Demonstrated analytical expertise with a solid understanding of retail business acumen to develop and interpret financial reports. Hands-on experience working with multiple data sources (structured and unstructured) and managing concurrent projects. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly; strong understanding of GAAP as it relates to financial reporting. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
