What this role actually is: You’ll own a portfolio of client accounts – creating content, managing communities, filming on location, and tracking performance. This isn’t a support role. You’re responsible for what goes out, how it lands, and what comes next.
To do this well, you need to be naturally curious, a creative thinker, and someone who holds themselves to a high standard without being told to.
What you’ll be doing:
Create and schedule content across platforms on a consistent weekly rhythm
Produce short-form video – filming, editing, and publishing Reels that actually perform
Design graphics and write copy that fits each client’s voice
Manage community engagement: comments, DMs, and relationship building daily
Travel to client locations across Memphis for content shoots
Track performance, flag what’s working, and bring ideas to the table
Collaborate with account managers, other SMMs, and leadership in a professional, low-ego way

Who we’re looking for: You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, film, graphic design, or a related field – or equivalent real-world experience. You have at least one year of hands‑on social media experience and have created posts, videos, and graphics for an actual audience. You’re comfortable in CapCut, Canva, and whatever tool the job requires. You stay current on platform changes because you’re genuinely interested. You need to be Memphis‑based with reliable transportation. This role is 4 days a week from our Downtown Memphis office, with client shoots across the city. There is no fully remote option. If you do not yet have experience but want to enter into a Social Media career, please apply for our open Intern role.
Compensation & structure:
Salary:
$42-52k depending on experience
Full‑Time, 40 hours per week
4 days in our Downtown Memphis office, Fridays remote
Start date: Late April 2026
