Summary of Position Lionsgate is currently seeking an Associate Manager, Sales Operations to join the Worldwide TV Sales department, reporting directly to the VP, Sales Planning & Operations. This role is integral to supporting the end-to-end licensing process by collaborating closely with Sales, Sales Planning, Rights Management, Servicing, IT, and Legal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing dynamic rights and servicing clearances, analyzing contract terms, ensuring accurate data input across internal systems, and project managing successful asset ordering and delivery to clients. This is a highly cross‑functional position that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction across departments and with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Review contracts as needed and proactively gather necessary context to ensure sales deals from designated international territories are accurately processed through Lionsgate’s internal systems with all required clearances and approvals
Drive the deal clearance workflow by initiating, troubleshooting, and managing a timely and dynamic rights and servicing clearance process
Own the end‑to‑end Service Order Request and fulfillment process, enabling the Servicing team to prioritize and deliver assets on schedule to support timely revenue recognition
Oversee and execute the third‑party content approval process to ensure alignment with legal requirements
Partner regularly with Sales and Sales Planning teams to ensure business practices align with operational workflows and system requirements
Facilitate system enhancements, testing, and implementations; drive related process updates and support cross‑functional training and adoption across these platforms
Support ad hoc projects, building PowerPoint presentations, and leading and contributing to internal presentations
Qualifications and Skills
Strong understanding of TV licensing deals in the international content distribution space with 3+ years related experience
Comfortable reviewing contracts and other legal documents, with preferred experience in Rights Management, Contract Management, or Sales Administration
Strategic and methodical problem‑solver with a passion for building and optimizing cross‑functional workflows and supporting system development
Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with demonstrated analytical and reporting skills
Exceptionally detail‑oriented, with the ability to organize, interpret, and analyze large datasets to troubleshoot issues and identify process improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment to meet tight deadlines
Adaptable and resourceful, with strong judgment and the ability to make independent decisions by seeking appropriate context
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
