A brief summary We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven and solutions-oriented Junior Event Producer to support our client’s esports events, including League of Legends, VALORANT and other esports tournaments and events.
The Junior Event Producer role will be the main point of contact between Event Producers and Event Staff, including scheduling, budget management, cross‑team collaboration, the conception of the events and travel logistics.
The Coordinating Event Producer role will be based out of Los Angeles, California and travel may be required to support Global Events. The role will report into Gravity Media’s Service Delivery Manager – Studio Crewing Global Events.
This is a temporary role with an approximate length of May 2026 – October 2026.
What you’ll be responsible for
Work on Season Splits/Stages at our client’s Arena and Roadshow events.
Work with Event Producer to accommodate other department needs, including but not limited to hotel blocking, city guidance protocols, Event Staff assignments/credentialing, Arena F&B, Arena Signage (outside arena and concourse), Event Staff List Management and, Check‑in logistics for the whole event.
Work with Event Producer to coordinate on‑site activations, from conception to execution, and adjust when necessary for safety or timing concerns. Jr. Event Producer assists with the Fan Day / Activations at our Live Events. This includes all sponsorship requirements and teams activating in the activation space.
Work with the Player Management team to support the following: Pro Team Travel Management, Hotel Accommodations, Ground Transportation, Player Room requirements are met from tech to F&B, Visas (if needed), Credentialing, and support where needed.
Work with Player Management to devise and implement the protocol for fan interactions, fan photo ops with talent, and the safety of guests/talent during these activations.
Collaborate with Hype Team for in‑person Swag giveaways, including managing the design process, merch creation/fabrication, and transportation/allocation of Swag items per segment.
Collaborate with the Business Partnership Team & Press Team around all respective partners while onsite at our client’s Live Events, including fan‑facing activations, partner obligations, and Meet & Greet coordination.
Handle audience load‑in to the venue and make sure proper fire code is followed, bottlenecks in queuing and entry are reduced, and security is fully aware of protocol for entry to the event.
Handle communication with the internal teams and security throughout the show to ensure attendees, talent, and crew are all safe for the duration of the event, along with having a full run of the show in a reasonable amount of notice to all necessary stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage After Party needs for internal crew.
Manage disclaimers to the audience regarding the show, announcements made on‑site, questions, concerns, frustrations/delights of guests, and any emergencies that develop during the event.
Coordinate feedback surveys and forms to better provide fans a greater experience after every event.
Works with Consumer Products (CPX) department / Esports Merchandise.
Manage on coordinating merchandise with themed event days, feedback on items highly desired by fans, and submitting show day merchandise settlements.
Required Qualifications
Two years of live event experience coordinating multiple teams and vendors (talent, ushers, security).
Experience working a live event for 500 to 15k attendees.
Esports immersion and understanding of the emergent field.
Desired Qualifications
Communication skills to effectively work with other teams as an Events unit while under pressure.
Experience building templates in Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable/smart sheets, etc.
Attention to detail, cost tracking and budget consciousness are a must.
