SafanDarley North America’s Marketing Intern will work alongside the President and the Waukesha team assisting with building and supporting our company’s brand and image across all areas of the business, including but not limited to literature, website content, social media, advertising, sales materials, and trade shows. This position will help with the development and maintenance of marketing communications platforms to ensure that they are consistent, authentic, and impactful. The role will partner with external agencies - including creative agencies, photographers, videographers, PR and advertising firms and trade show consultants to maintain a clear brand image for the organization. The intern should have a basic understanding of corporate branding and messaging.

The Marketing Intern will use a range of tools and methods to collect data such as industry trends, opinion polls or surveys to analyze the current consumer market for potential and current customers. Based on this research and input from the team, you will create relevant content for social media posts, blog articles to enhance SafanDarley North America’s brand awareness and visibility. There will also be collaboration and communication with the headquarters marketing team, based in the Netherlands.

This internship will help you acquire B2B marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will gain experience and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced work environment. This role can begin as part‑time work, 10‑15 hours per week, evolving to a full time summer role, estimating May to August 2026. Compensation will be $18.00 - $20.00/hour, based on experience.

Essential Functions

Develop and maintain content for social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.

Conduct industry research and market trends to recommend content when building social media campaigns.

Create blog posts, short‑form articles, and social media content aligned with company messaging.

Update and maintain customer database (CRM) with new details, prospects and consumer satisfaction results.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist with organizing marketing events, open houses, and post‑secondary institution visits.

Attend industry trade shows and create live social media updates during the event. Document competitor activities for future strategy.

Communicate website enhancements to external development team and share updates with the team.

Produce and edit short product and software videos and photos for the use on website, social media, and sales presentations.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications field.

Aptitude with social media platforms and data tracking tools.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with experience in Adobe Creative suite.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and execute tasks in a timely manner.

Organization and time management skills.

Schedule & Compensation

10–15 hours per week during the school year

Up to 40 hours per week during the summer

$18–$20 per hour based on experience
