
Corporate Paralegal Uniondale

The Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for working on various corporate legal projects and initiatives. In addition to the job functions detailed herein, the role will be responsible for assisting the MD in completing essential tasks and driving a number of critical projects end-to-end.
Essential Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities) The Corporate Paralegal will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Support the MD with respect to all corporate governance matters and special projects, as needed
Assist with the drafting of corporate level policies and procedures
Perform research to support the Company’s compliance with various state and federal rules and regulations
Provide administrative and other support to the MD with respect to materials delivered to the Board of Directors, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with other departments (Finance, Servicing and Treasury) to gather information for corporate filings
Assist with the due diligence and closing processes related to the corporate level transactions
Assist with entity management, including but not limited to the formation and dissolution of entities, filing of required state and federal documents, securing TINs, and the creation and modification of organizational charts
Provide assistance to support the maintenance of the Company’s state licenses and registrations
Assemble, distribute, and store loan, credit, and other corporate legal documents
Draft and transmit correspondence
Assist with the creation and implementation of an invoice management process
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 or more years of experience in an operational position or legal assistant/ paralegal. Commercial Real Estate experience or prior corporate paralegal work are helpful.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio and PowerPoint
Candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment
Working in a high‑volume environment
Must be highly organized and possess the ability to multi‑task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be hard working, a quick learner, detail oriented, and can work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal
Base Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000, plus discretionary performance‑based bonus

Travel:
0-5% as needed based on special projects.
