
National Service Sales Director

The National Service Sales Director is a senior, customer-facing role responsible for driving growth in service, maintenance, mobile service, and body shop revenue by building strong partnerships with large local, regional, and national trucking fleets. This position is not a truck sales role; instead, it is focused on expanding the company's service and collision footprint by developing trusted, long-term fleet relationships, increasing wallet share, ensuring consistent execution across all locations, and serving as the internal advocate for fleet customers. The National Service Sales Director acts as the single point of accountability for assigned national and strategic fleet accounts and collaborates closely with dealership leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience, relying on influence and collaboration without direct management of team members.
Essential Functions
- Drive growth in service, mobile service, and body shop revenue from regional fleet customers.
- Expand wallet share with current national fleet accounts.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with fleet key decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and single point of accountability for assigned fleets.
- Function as the voice of the fleet customer internally, advocating for customer needs and priorities across the organization.
- Ensure consistent pricing, program execution, and adherence to fleet agreements across all dealership locations.
- Maintain regular contact with fleet leadership, including conducting business reviews and performance check-ins.
- Visit fleet locations on a regular basis to support relationships, identify opportunities, and ensure service alignment.
- Manage fleet pricing structures, service terms, and authorization processes.
- Serve as the escalation point for service, mobile service, and body shop issues, driving timely resolution.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service, mobile service, and body shop work within existing fleet accounts.
- Partner with dealership general managers and department leaders to develop and execute fleet growth strategies.
- Support preventative maintenance initiatives and uptime-focused service programs for fleet customers.
- Lead or support fleet pricing discussions and negotiations as needed.
- Collaborate closely with general managers and service, parts, collision, and mobile service leadership to ensure consistent execution.
- Track, analyze, and report on fleet performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and account growth.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field is preferred
- 7–10+ years in heavy-duty service in dealership operations
- 10+ years national sales experience
- Experience managing large local or national fleet accounts
- Strong understanding of service pricing and operations
- Willingness to travel nationally and up to 50% travel
