We are Looking for an Business Development Director (Hunter - Retail & Travel) for an IT Services Client of ours

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact Hunter – Retail / Travel to drive new logo acquisition and large multi-year deal conversion in the US market.

This is a pure hunting role focused on shaping and closing strategic managed services engagements across Digital, Data, and Cloud transformation programs.

Primary Domain Focus: Retail & Travel

Secondary Exposure: Logistics & CPG

What You Will Do

  • Drive new logo acquisition across Retail & Travel enterprises
  • Build, groom, and convert large outsourcing and managed services deals
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: opportunity identification → pursuit shaping → closure
  • Engage CXOs and key buying committees
  • Collaborate with solutioning, delivery, and alliance teams
  • Co‑create deal constructs involving Advisors, Analysts, and ecosystem partners

What We’re Looking For

✔ ~15 years total experience (target band: 14–17 years)

✔ Minimum 5+ years of direct hunting experience in the US

✔ Demonstrated success closing multi‑year deals > $15M TCV

✔ ACV ownership in the $5M–$10M range

✔ Experience selling outsourced technology services delivered as managed services

✔ Strong understanding of Digital Engineering, Data & Analytics, Cloud offerings

✔ Experience engaging Advisors, Analysts & partner ecosystems

Preferred Background

  • Tier 2 IT services firms strongly preferred
  • Tier 1 experience acceptable if direct hunting ownership is demonstrated
  • Experience working with globally distributed delivery teams
