About the Position
This is a non‑state service (X‑16) position with the Office of the Secretary of State in Hinds County. The position is responsible for managing the budget and financial operations of the Secretary of State’s Office, through oversight and supervision of the Finance Division.
The Finance Division handles agency accounting and budgeting functions, procurement, fleet and fixed‑asset administration, agency records, oversight of facilities in multiple locations, and agency mailroom functions.

- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees in the agency
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7–8 years of experience.
