Senior Compensation Specialist

The Senior Compensation Specialist implements and administers compensation programs that align with business objectives and the global Total Rewards strategy. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, regional Total Rewards leaders, and key stakeholders to provide consultative guidance on salary actions, promotions, job changes, and non-standard requests while ensuring compliance, governance, and internal equity. The role supports enterprise initiatives such as job architecture and pay equity through market analysis, job pricing, salary structure maintenance, and FLSA exemption determinations. Additionally, the Senior Compensation Specialist leverages compensation and HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy, enhance tools and processes, and enable consistent and competitive compensation practices across the organization. What You'll Do Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders by providing guidance on compensation decisions, including salary actions, promotions, job changes, and non-standard requests, while ensuring compliance with policies and governance standards. Support global compensation initiatives such as Job Architecture, Pay Equity, and related governance frameworks. Analyze external market data and internal benchmarks to deliver job pricing recommendations, maintain salary structures, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Evaluate position descriptions and determine appropriate salary grades and FLSA exemption status in compliance with regulatory requirements. Leverage compensation and HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy and support system enhancements, tools, and documentation. Partner with HR Business Partners and regional Total Rewards leaders to effectively deploy compensation programs and support annual and ad-hoc compensation processes. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; in lieu of a degree, an additional five years of equivalent professional experience. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in HR or Total Rewards, ideally within a large or matrixed organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. What Will Set You Apart Strong analytical skills, proficiency with compensation survey data, analytical methodologies, and HR systems (Workday). Sound judgment and ability to apply policy with flexibility and consistency. Clear and effective communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
