The Director of Sales – OEM Channel leads commercial performance and P&L for assigned OEM programs, driving growth through strategic account leadership, long-cycle capture, and market development. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, executing commercial strategy, and ensuring profitable program execution across General Aviation and regional aircraft markets.

OEM Director of Sales Key Responsibilities

  • Own revenue, margin, and profitability for assigned OEM programs.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, forecasts, and pipeline strategies.
  • Lead new business development and capture activities from opportunity identification to contract award.
  • Manage RFQs/RFPs, pricing, and technical/commercial evaluations.
  • Analyze markets, competitors, and customer needs to define growth priorities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS, and AS9100.
  • Build executive-level customer relationships and serve as a strategic advisor.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Program Management on product qualification and delivery.

OEM Director of Sales Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of Aerospace sales experience with direct OEM exposure; General Aviation OEM experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success with long-cycle capture, complex technical/commercial programs, and P&L ownership.
  • Strong knowledge of OEM/Tier supplier procurement, program structures, and regulated contract negotiation.
