Position Purpose:
Join our team as a Sales and Customer Engagement Representative at Home Depot, where you will provide outstanding service by connecting with customers to understand their needs and offer personalized support. Use our extensive product resources to build your knowledge, enabling you to effectively guide customers through their projects and purchases. Your key responsibilities will include: Welcoming and qualifying customers in your department. Recommending products that meet their specific needs and closing sales. Staying informed about adjacent departments to enhance your service. Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked section of the store. Ensuring a safe shopping environment by adhering to safety policies and promptly reporting hazards. Collaborating with your Department Supervisor and fellow associates to create a seamless shopping experience. Possible departments include Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. Various roles within the Customer Service/Sales position may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
