At
CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) , we’re looking for a dynamic
Cardiovascular Sonography Program Director
to lead, develop, and elevate our program while making a lasting impact on student success.
In this role, you’ll combine your
clinical expertise and leadership skills
to guide faculty, support students, and ensure the program remains aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
✨ What You’ll Do
Lead and manage all aspects of the
Cardiovascular Sonography program
Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum remains
current, relevant, and compliant
Supervise and support instructors, including
reviewing lesson plans and providing mentorship
Participate in
recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
of instructional staff
Monitor program performance, including
completion rates and job placement outcomes
Engage directly with students through
advising, orientation, and admissions support
Organize and lead
program advisory board meetings
to maintain industry alignment
Review feedback from students, graduates, and employers to drive
continuous improvement
Assist with
academic planning, scheduling, and program development initiatives
Ensure compliance with
institutional, state, federal, and accreditation standards
Collaborate with campus leadership, including the
Director of Education and registrar
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (required)
3–5 years of experience
in cardiovascular sonography, with leadership or management experience preferred
Current
registry, license, or certification
in a cardiovascular specialty
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced academic environment
