Solutions Consultant UKG Ready Overview This role is responsible for delivering engaging and consultative product demonstrations to prospective clients. Working closely with Sales, the position focuses on understanding customer needs, positioning solutions effectively, and clearly communicating value across payroll, HR, time tracking, and compliance-related offerings.

The goal is to tailor each interaction to client objectives and support overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities Product Demonstrations

Lead customized, consultative product demonstrations aligned to client industry, size, and operational needs

Translate product capabilities into real business value and measurable outcomes

Adapt messaging for different audiences, including executives and functional stakeholders

Discovery & Needs Analysis

Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client requirements across HR, payroll, compliance, and workforce processes

Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and risks

Collaborate with Sales to qualify opportunities and define success criteria

Product & Industry Knowledge

Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings, integrations, and differentiators

Communicate system capabilities, features, and architecture clearly

Stay informed on regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive landscape

Technical Setup & Demo Management

Configure demo environments tailored to client use cases

Deliver presentations using relevant tools and platforms

Troubleshoot technical issues during demonstrations

Support proposal responses and technical documentation when required

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales and Delivery teams to align messaging and expectations

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives

Provide feedback from client interactions to support product and strategy improvements

Support workshops, webinars, and training sessions when needed

Skills & Qualifications

Solid understanding of HR, payroll, or workforce-related processes

Experience

3-7 years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or similar pre-sales roles

Background in HR technology, payroll systems, or workforce management solutions preferred

Proven experience in client-facing, consultative engagements

Work Environment

Primarily office or remote-based work environment

Regular use of standard business tools (computer, communication platforms, etc.)

Occasional travel or on-site engagement may be required
