
Architectural Designer

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Architectural Designer
to join our design team. In this position, you won't just be drafting; you will play a key role in developing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and helping realize innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development:
Translate schematic concepts into detailed design drawings and 3D models.
Technical Documentation:
Produce comprehensive construction document sets (plans, sections, elevations, and schedules) using AutoCAD.
Consultant Coordination:
Assist in integrating structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements into the architectural set.
Code Research:
Conduct preliminary zoning and building code analysis to ensure project compliance.
Project Support:
Participate in site visits, attend client meetings, and assist in the construction administration phase (RFIs and submittals).
Qualifications
Education:
B.Arch or M.Arch from an NAAB-accredited program.
Experience:
Minimum of
2 years
of experience in an architectural office setting (post‑graduation or significant year‑round internship experience).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam is highly preferred.
Licensure Track:
Currently enrolled in the
NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP)
and actively pursuing licensure.
Soft Skills:
A high degree of organization, a keen eye for details, a collaborative mindset, and strong graphic communication.
