Senior Residential Architectural Designer

Everton Homes is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to lead the

architectural development

of our luxury

single-family residential

projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for taking projects from zoning feasibility and concept design through permitting and construction documentation.

The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility, deep technical expertise, and a builder‑focused understanding of constructability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural development frominitial feasibility through permit

Create schematicfloor plans, building massing, and elevationsfrom scratch

Lead zoning and code research prior to design

Interpret local development codes and planning requirements

Technical Production

Work directly in Revit , AutoCAD , and SketchUp

Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and construction-ready

Incorporate structural systems, venting, and building assemblies into design

Coordinate with civil, structural, and other consultants

Lead consultant communication through permitting

Manage and oversee permit submittalsRespond to plan review comments and coordinate revisions

Required Qualifications

10+ yearsof professional residential architectural design experience

Strong proficiency in:

Revit

AutoCAD

SketchUp(for massing and elevation studies)

Deep understanding of:

Residential construction methods

Structural coordination

Constructability and detailing

Strong communication and coordination skills
