Pitman & Wardley Associates is a design-forward architecture studio specializing residential renovations and new construction across urban, suburban, and coastal New England. We also take on select commercial projects. Our work ranges from early concept and planning through permit and municipal reviews, construction documentation, and construction administration.

We’re hiring a driven, well-rounded Designer to join our team and contribute from early concept through construction. The ideal candidate is fluent in architectural thinking and is also interested in supporting interior architecture through finish coordination, millwork development, and presentation materials.

Roles + Responsibilities Assist with architectural design presentations for clients (concept design, massing, plans/sections, and supporting materials).

Draft and detail residential (and select commercial) drawing sets for construction.

Prepare permit submissions and municipal review packages.

Develop interior architecture elements including custom millwork, interior elevations, and finish documentation as part of the architectural set.

Support construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and select OAC meetings.

Coordinate with consultants and the internal team to maintain a cohesive, buildable design.

Requirements 3–5 years of professional architectural experience.

Bachelor of Architecture (minimum).

Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.

High-end residential experience preferred.

Experience with permit and municipal submissions.

Interior design / interior architecture experience is a plus.

Collaborative mindset, strong communication, and comfort managing multiple priorities.
