Our General Contracting client is seeking experienced
Traveling Superintendents
with a proven track record on
Walmart-specific projects
to support a strong pipeline of
open store remodels
across the U.S.
This role is ideal for Superintendents who thrive in fast-paced environments, understand the complexity of working in active retail spaces, and can lead projects with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for
Walmart open store remodels
Manage subcontractors, site logistics, safety, and daily operations
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while minimizing disruption to active store operations
Maintain strict adherence to
Walmart standards, protocols, and safety requirements
Coordinate with project managers, store leadership, and vendors
Drive quality control and ensure successful project closeout
Required Qualifications
2+ completed Walmart-specific projects
(REQUIRED)
Experience with
retail open store remodels
(working in active environments)
Strong ability to manage fast-paced, phased construction schedules
Willingness to travel full-time nationwide
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication and leadership skills in high-traffic environments
Ability to independently run projects with limited oversight
