
Construction Superintendent

Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Lead and manage field crews and subcontractors to ensure smooth daily operations. Oversee sub-subcontractor activities and performance, coordinate project progress and success in collaboration with the Project Manager and General Superintendent, and ensure all work aligns with Contract Documents and expectations.
Responsibilities
Attend client meetings and verify that all work aligns with Contract Documents and expectations.
Plan and optimize crew, equipment, and material schedules for maximum efficiency.
Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential delays or disruptions.
Maintain consistent daily communication with Project Managers and the General Superintendent.
Submit daily reports, including production unit tracking and time management updates.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety protocols.
Understand and enforce company policies across all jobsite activities.
Essential Skills
Experience in subcontractor management.
Knowledge of underground construction and construction safety.
Proficiency in earthwork, commercial site utilities, and construction management.
Experience in demolition, grading, excavation, and supervision.
Familiarity with safety protocols, utilities, and sewer systems.
Experience in commercial construction and construction supervision.
OSHA 30-Hour certification.
Quality control expertise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Advanced plan reading for civil and underground blueprints.
Experience leading a crew and supervising subcontractors and trades onsite.
Experience with civil projects, site utilities, and commercial earthwork/excavating.
Knowledge of GPS, managing grade, lasers, etc. within earthwork/excavating.
Work Environment As a Superintendent/Foreman, you will primarily be stationed in the field working onsite. Typically, there is a trailer set up with office space from which you would work if not walking the site or supervising. The Superintendent will be on job-sites throughout the week and will be compensated for mileage if they travel more than 60 miles from job‐site to job‐site.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
