Sales Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-Level, Mandarin Speaking)

Position Summary Arlon EMD is seeking a
Mandarin-speaking, entry-level Sales & Manufacturing Engineer
to join our growing team.
This is a developmental role designed for recent engineering graduates who want to build a career that combines:
Hands-on manufacturing experience
Technical problem solving
Customer-facing sales and applications support
You will begin by learning our manufacturing processes and products, then gradually transition into supporting customers and driving technical sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Technical Training (Phase 1)
Learn core PCB manufacturing processes, including lamination, drilling, plating, and material handling
Support production teams in troubleshooting process and material-related issues
Assist in analyzing manufacturing data to improve yield, quality, and efficiency
Participate in product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop strong knowledge of laminate and prepreg materials
Support the sales team in technical discussions with customers
Assist in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate material solutions
Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical evaluations
Help prepare technical documentation, product information, and proposals
Build relationships with Mandarin-speaking customers and partners
Long-Term Growth
Transition into a
Technical Sales Engineer / Account Manager role
Own customer accounts and support business development efforts
Drive adoption of Arlon materials in PCB fabrication and design
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
U.S. Citizen (required for Defense Industry)
Strong interest in both manufacturing and customer-facing roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Preferred
Internship or project experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production
Exposure to electronics, PCB, or materials engineering
Experience of presenting or working with customers
Familiarity with Excel or basic data analysis tools
