Sales Engineer – Adhesives / Advanced Materials - Consumer Electronics Manufacturing
I’m currently hiring on behalf of my client for a
Sales Engineer
to support strategic customers in the
consumer electronics (3C)
space.
This is a
client-facing technical role
focused on
adhesives, films, foams, thermal and EMI materials , along with precision converting (die‑cut) solutions used in electronics manufacturing. You’ll act as a key
technical bridge between customer engineering teams and internal R&D , supporting material qualification while identifying growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
technical support and application guidance
(remote and on‑site)
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with
R&D, quality, and operations
Manage
samples, validation timelines, and project updates
Identify and drive
growth opportunities
within existing customers
Support
new business development
with prospective customers
Requirements:
Experience with
materials and/or precision converting (die‑cutting) and assembly for electronics programmes
Experience with
adhesives, films, foams, thermal or EMI materials
Background in
consumer electronics (3C)
Exposure to
Apple‑related projects
(directly or via suppliers)
Comfortable working with
engineering stakeholders and programme processes
(sample, validation, qualification, ramp)
Degree in
Mechanical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science
Ideal Profile:
Client‑facing technical professional experienced in
programme‑based electronics environments
Strong collaboration with
engineering and R&D teams
Commercial mindset with ability to
build relationships and spot opportunities
