
Active Directory Administrator
DNI (Delaware Nation Industries), Oklahoma City, OK, United States
DNI/Creative IT Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Active Directory (AD) Administrator to join our team as a full time employee in Oklahoma City. This position is part of our Defense Enterprise Email project. Indigenous is providing the development, integration, and sustainment services for over two million end users in an Exchange and Blackberry Enterprise environment. This is a highly visible program with a high potential of advancement opportunity and career growth.
This position works Tues-Sat.
Essential Functions
Provide Microsoft Windows Server operating system support
Monitor server performance and availability
Ensure Windows server availability compliance to Service Level Agreements
Knowledge and support of Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications
Use provided ticket management system to properly document and resolve problems
Promote and maintain server patch management practices
Monitor server load and implement load balancing where appropriate
Support and maintain Active Directory and AD services
Provide required support for disaster recovery efforts (real or simulated)
Possess Windows scripting skills
Properly handle documents according to appropriate regulations and guidance including classification level
Provide callback and after-hours support
Special Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server (2008 R2 & newer) and related technologies with emphasis on Active Directory and integrated AD services
Install, configure, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot MS Windows Server Operating Environments and associated components such as the Registry, Active Directory, Internet Information Service (IIS), Domain Name System (DNS), and networking components
Understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL
Active Directory administration including AD integrated DNS
Familiarity with network infrastructure
Knowledge of Server Applications and services
An understanding of patch management software
Familiarity with Backup software and strategies
Knowledge and understanding of network applications, web servers, email servers, firewalls, databases, and file shares
An active secret clearance is required
Security+ certification is required
