Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Residential Director I position is based in Albany, GA. The role involves overseeing residential operations, managing and developing programs that enhance the living experience of students, and supervising housing staff. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring facility conditions, and ensuring adherence to university policies. The Residential Director will serve as a liaison between students and university administration, fostering a safe and engaging residential environment.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills, with experience managing teams and overseeing day‑to‑day operations
Proficiency in program management and development to plan, execute, and improve residential programs
Experience with budgeting and financial management, including resource allocation and expense tracking
Working knowledge of residential real estate operations, processes, and maintenance management
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
Experience in higher education or student affairs is highly desirable
