Compensation:

$100,000k - $125,000k (DOE) + bonus + excellent benefits package

About Us Our client is a Top 15 P&C Retail Agency who is dedicated to delivering comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our commercial clients. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Account Manager to join us in supporting and expanding our client relationships. Ideal individual will have experience managing small & middle market accounts, interacting with underwriters, handling all aspects of renewals, and providing in-depth knowledge of servicing commercial accounts. Position is open due to growth and will be working closely with the President. Established agency that has an excellent name/reputation in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and service a book of commercial accounts, with a focus on clients in the Real Estate, Contractors, Manufacturing Construction, and other major industries.

Manage a dynamic book of business consisting of all commercial insurance accounts.

Activities include new and renewal marketing, fielding questions and requests and coverage review

Handling all aspects of the account life cycle; pre-renewal, renewal, post renewal, and stewardship meetings

Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned high-touch, complex Commercial Lines clients

Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and members of the Account Management and Sales Executive team

Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals

Determine most-appropriate carriers for market pricing

Analyze and compare carrier quotes and coverage offerings

Make insurance program recommendations to clients

Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage

Complex negotiation with carriers on behalf of clients

Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed

Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives

Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner

Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems

Regular carrier interaction and frequent face-to-face meetings with underwriters

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.

In-depth knowledge of commercial property insurance, including business interruption, inland marine, and equipment coverage.

Strong understanding of the unique exposures faced by energy-related businesses.

Active Property & Casualty insurance license.

Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
