
Senior Carrier Sales Representative

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Description We are hiring for a Senior Carrier Sales Representative to support and scale our carrier network while driving operational efficiency across multiple customer accounts.
This role is designed for individuals with prior freight brokerage experience who can independently manage freight, build carrier relationships, and contribute to team performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of carrier procurement, rate strategy, and load execution in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Book and manage carriers for high volume customer freight
Source and develop reliable carrier relationships across multiple lanes
Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service expectations
Track and manage loads from pickup through delivery with minimal oversightProactively resolve service issues and elevate when necessary
Maintain accurate and detailed load information in internal systems
Support team performance by sharing market insight and carrier strategy
Assist in mentoring and guiding entry level team members
Work closely with the Carrier Sales Manager and team
Qualifications
Prior experience in freight brokerage or carrier sales required
Proven ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong negotiation skills and understanding of market conditions
Established carrier relationships or ability to quickly build a network
Experience handling high volume freight and time sensitive shipments
Detail oriented with strong follow up and accountability
Team focused with leadership and mentorship capabilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Existing book of business or carrier network
Experience training or supporting junior team members
Track record of consistent load coverage and performance
