Minimum 5 Years experience in Technical Sales Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have experience selling to / winning new business with automotive, defense or similar companies.

Requirements of the Account Manager

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience in technical sales of machined products

Experience selling and securing new business

Proven contacts and sales history in automotive, defense or a similar industry

Responsibilities of the Account Manager

Obtain New Business to Achieve the company 5 Year Strategic Plan.

Meet with and maintain relationships with all customers and direct suppliers.

Organize all information relevant to an assigned project/quote to receive recommendations based on analysis by Management team.

Maintain and work on Customers specific ERP systems to receive and answer any quotes.

Compile and submit all data required for quotations to be submitted to requesting customer
