We’re looking for an Account Manager in the Americas. Your role involves guiding customers through their

Digital Transformation journey

using the DataMiner software platform. To succeed, you'll need to

build strong, long‑lasting client relationships

by meeting their needs and requests, responding promptly to queries, and delivering a positive customer experience. Ultimately, you should be able to

grow

our business by building

successful, long‑term relationships

with our customers.

Responsibilities

You will manage a portfolio of accounts with the aim of achieving long‑term success.

You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will act as a point of contact and handle customers' individual needs (pre & post sales).

You will generate new sales and business by leveraging your existing and potential customer networks and business partners.

You will be responsible for setting and tracking sales account targets aligned with company OKRs & KPIs.

You will actively monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).

You will report on the status of accounts and transactions using CRM software to manage interactions and sales funnels.

You will analyze our product offering against competition, markets, and customer business needs, and translate it to corporate strategy and solutions management.

You will collaborate with departments such as Product Marketing, Customer Success Managers, Engineering & Consultancy Services, and Platform Operations & Quality.

You will inspire and empower customers and business partners through dedicated programs (e.g. DevOps Professional Program, Partner Program, etc.).

You will work together with the Sales Account Managers and Directors daily to move people from the top of the sales funnel to being signed customers.

You will report to the Global Sales Leadership Team.

Competencies

You bring 5 years of experience in software solution sales, with experience in telco, media, broadcast, or satellite ecosystems considered a strong advantage.

You have a great understanding of sales performance metrics.

You have excellent communication & negotiation skills.

You are a team player and breathe continuous learning.

You are business‑savvy and have a problem‑solving attitude.

You have the ability to analyze, assemble, and deliver information.

You have the ability to travel in the region and from time‑to‑time visit the HQ in Belgium.

You are based in USA and you are willing to travel up to 40%.

You have a genuine interest in the latest business & technology trends.

You have a leg up if you have a profound knowledge of or practical experience with telecom broadband platforms and related NMS/OSS/BSS systems.
