Position Summary We are seeking skilled
Sheet Metal Installers
to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at King’s Bay Naval Base, GA and the surrounding area. All work is performed on the military installation and is compensated in accordance with the required Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.
Sheet Metal Installers are responsible for fabricating and installing ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites. All work must comply with applicable codes and standards. This role requires the technical application of mechanical principles and the use of proper tools and equipment, while maintaining strict adherence to safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $18.62 – $44.00 per hour DOE

Paid Time Off: 1 week vacation plus accrued sick time
Requirements for this position include:
High school diploma or G.E.D. (minimal education)
4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade experience as a journey‑level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations environment (required); government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred
Experience working in high‑bay environments and with turning vanes preferred
Extensive rigging experience preferred
Hoisting certifications preferred
Per contract stipulations, access to Sub‑Base Kings Bay is limited to United States citizens only. Other work‑authorization statuses cannot be considered for this location
