Home Health Marketer (Business Development)

About the Role We are seeking a
high-performing Home Health Marketer
to drive referral growth and patient admissions across the Tampa market. This is a field-based, relationship-driven role focused on developing strong referral networks, increasing census, and expanding market presence.
This position is ideal for someone who understands the local healthcare landscape and has a proven ability to generate consistent home health admissions through strategic outreach and relationship management.
About the Organization This organization provides
skilled home health and private duty services , helping patients transition safely from hospitals and post-acute settings to care at home. Through a collaborative, team-based approach, the organization delivers personalized care plans that prioritize outcomes, continuity of care, and patient independence.
The team works closely with physicians, hospitals, and community partners to ensure patients receive the right level of care while reducing unnecessary hospitalizations and improving overall quality of life.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with
physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, and community referral sources
Generate
home health admissions (SOCs)
through consistent outreach and follow-up
Develop and execute
territory growth strategies
to increase market share
Conduct
daily field visits, cold calls, and networking activities
within assigned territory
Coordinate with discharge planners and clinical teams to ensure
smooth patient transitions to home care
Represent the organization at
community events, healthcare offices, and industry functions
Educate referral partners on services, clinical capabilities, and patient eligibility
Track referral activity and maintain accurate reporting on
pipeline, conversions, and performance
Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, intake, operations) to ensure
high-quality patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with all
state and federal home health regulations
What We’re Looking For
1–3+ years of home health marketing/business development experience required
Proven track record of generating
consistent home health referrals and admissions
Strong existing relationships in the
Tampa healthcare market preferred
Knowledge of
Medicare, skilled home health, and post-acute care processes
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a
fast-paced, results-driven environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic reporting tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Base Salary:
$70,000 – $90,000 (based on experience and performance)
Performance-driven compensation with strong earning potential
