Responsibilities
Assist with preparation for all design meetings, board reviews, hand-offs, line reviews & showroom openings
Work with the women's design lead to create inspirational design boards and sketches to convey design ideas
Research product ideas by compiling vintage protos, tear sheets, sketches, fabric swatches and trim inspiration
Partner with the women's design lead to research new silhouettes and market trends
Responsible for executing technical sketches including all views and detailed layouts
Requirements
Deep understanding of the brand's legacy and craftsmanship
Meticulous attention to washing techniques, patinas, and artisanal details
Progressive work experience in apparel design (5+ years)
Strong understanding of garment construction and working knowledge of pattern making
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Web PLM, Microsoft Excel and Word
