Communications Specialist
– ArborMetrics is currently seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to join our team and help elevate the clarity, consistency, and impact of enterprise‑wide communications. This role requires independence, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration.

What You Will Do:
Strategic Communication Leadership
Lead enterprise communication planning efforts to support business goals
Develop persuasive messaging for internal and external audiences
Provide counsel to business leaders on communication strategy, best practices, and reputation management
Use analytics and insights to inform communication plans and refine messaging for greater impact
Manage crisis communication needs and partner with leadership during high‑visibility events
Content Development & Documentation
Meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and translate complex information into clear communication materials
Produce concise, audience‑appropriate documentation, business process materials, best‑practice guides, and communication assets
Write and edit articles, narratives, and features highlighting team achievements and initiatives
Apply consistent taxonomy and metadata to support intuitive content organization
Contribute to team KPIs by generating content that drives engagement, awareness, and knowledge sharing
Visual & Multimedia Content Creation
Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics that support communications and documentation
Create content for internal digital channels, including intranet, social platforms, and digital signage
Produce short videos and multimedia resources to support campaigns and messaging
Ensure adherence to brand, style, and graphic standards
Experience with Figma or comparable tools is preferred
Engagement & Collaboration
Partner with cross‑functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and organizational alignment
Support internal engagement campaigns, events, and learning initiatives
Use platforms such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and maintain documentation
Organization & Execution
Manage multiple communication projects with competing deadlines
Demonstrate independence and a proactive approach to problem solving
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality across all deliverables
What You Need To Have:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Design, Public Relations, Advertising, Liberal Arts, or related fields
11–15 years of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and corporate messaging
Proven ability to develop clear, compelling written and visual content for internal communications or knowledge‑sharing purposes
Strong writing, editing, interviewing, and information‑synthesis skills
Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma) and collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence)
Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal communication skills and comfort engaging diverse audiences
Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and proactive in identifying solutions
What Would Be Amazing To Have:
Experience supporting enterprise‑level communication strategy
Background in analytics‑driven content planning or measurement
Familiarity with digital communication platforms, knowledge management, and multimedia content development
Work Environment This position is designated for an office‑based environment.
