Equity Vol Trade Support Specialist

Millennium is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Trade Support Specialist to join our Middle Office team supporting an Equity Vol desk. This position will offer exposure to various markets and the opportunity to work between several teams globally in the firm as well as directly with portfolio managers, execution desk and our Prime Brokers. The successful candidate will have the initiative to seek out opportunities to work on strategic projects and be able to manage them through completion, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. They will be on a small team with broad product exposure to global markets across Equities, Equity/Index Options, Total Return Swaps, Exotic OTC Derivatives, Futures and FX.
Principal Responsibilities
Ensure proper trade capture upon execution of key products including Equities, Equity/Index Options, Exotic OTC Derivatives, Bonds, Futures and FX
Work across global teams to implement firm initiatives
Support PM/Execution Desk with all operational queries
Monitoring of corporate actions related to OTC derivatives and trade queues throughout the day
New product implementation
Onboarding of new PMs onto MLP platforms as well as integrating external managers
Qualifications/Skills Required
5+ years of experience at a financial services firm supporting Equity Vol desk with an undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline (finance, economics, accounting, etc.)
Strong product and working knowledge of Equity and Equity OTC derivatives markets, specifically AutoCalls, Var/Vol products, TRS, Digitals, QIS, etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with PM’s and brokers
Ability to work independently
Proficiency with Excel
Well‑organized, detail‑oriented; able to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of Imagine, Murex, Kinetix are preferred
Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
